Fixture II MIPS is a helmet made for the trails, and its shape is derived from much more expensive models from Giro. It features a extended rear profile, providing increased protection for the back of the head.
MIPS is a low-friction liner between the EPS shell (the helmet body) and the interior padding. In the event of an angled impact (for example, if your head catches a branch), the helmet’s EPS shell can rotate a few millimetres over the MIPS layer, protecting the head and brain from a sudden rotational jolt.
The helmet is excellently ventilated thanks to 16 vents and will fit your head perfectly with the Roc Loc Sport fit system, which tightens easily with one hand using the adjustment dial and is compatible with ponytails.

Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact.
