The helmet's construction consists of two separate shells that function on a joint principle. The outer part can smoothly rotate around the inner shell upon impact, significantly reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain. Optimal ventilation is ensured by 15 vents that effectively dissipate heat even during intense performance. Precise and easy custom fitting is enabled by the Roc Loc 5 Air retention system, which ensures the helmet fits perfectly and stays in place.
Wearing comfort is enhanced by the pleasant inner pads with Ionic+ antimicrobial treatment, which help maintain freshness even during longer rides.

Spherical technology uses two separate inserts to help manage impact forces. The material and density of the inner and outer liner can be optimized with progressive layering to help handle a wide range of impact forces. When you combine the benefits of progressive layering with the market-leading MIPS® Brain Protection System, which helps redirect rotational motion away from the brain, you get more comprehensive protection.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
