The Isode II model brings the proven design and efficient ventilation inspired by Giro's top road helmets into a lightweight and affordable package. The compact shape, low weight, and sophisticated ventilation clearly follow the models you typically see in the professional peloton.
The Roc Loc® Sport fit system with an intuitive dial takes care of the comfortable and quick size adjustment, ensuring the helmet fits perfectly. The comfortable, quick-drying pads also enhance the wearing experience.
The helmet features 19 ventilation holes connected by deep internal channels that optimize airflow throughout the entire structure. This results in the quick removal of heat and moisture, helping to keep your head cool even during intense rides.
The result is a pleasant climate and higher comfort with every kilometer.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
