Goodyear XPLR Inter is part of a revolutionary wheel-and-tire system for gravel riding.
This versatile gravel tire is designed for the ultra-wide Zipp 303 XPLR S and SW rims to deliver a fast wheel-and-tire combination on any gravel surface.
It excels mainly in dry to mixed conditions. Today’s gravel wheel systems are mostly just slightly beefier versions of what exists on the road: light, stiff, narrow, and aerodynamic. The problem is that gravel riding generates harmful vibrations that slow you down and increase fatigue over time. In addition, gravel tires generally negate the aerodynamic benefits of traditionally narrow road rims.
The new XPLR wheel-and-tire system approaches the problem in a completely new way, optimizing component dimensions to achieve the fastest setup on the market. In addition to unmatched aerodynamic advantages for gravel, the resulting rim width also allows lower tire pressures, helping filter vibrations for additional energy savings.
XPLR Inter offers the most versatile gravel combo with the 303 XPLR and can be ridden in most situations. Its tight center tread ensures fast rolling, while larger side lugs provide grip and confidence when cornering. The lightweight, supple construction improves ride quality.
M:Wall reinforcements in the sidewalls provide protection against punctures and flats, allowing you to run the lowest possible pressure. Finally, the tire bead dimensions are designed to ensure easy installation and a secure fit on Zipp TSS rims.
Only approved tires may be used on XPLR wheels.
