Kellys Tayen RS10 Mocha Grey 725 Wh is a women’s mountain e-bike designed for trail riding and off-road touring. It sits in the mid-performance category, where motor specs, battery capacity, and practical components make the difference. It’s aimed at riders looking for a 29" e-MTB for climbs, forest trails, and all-day loops.

Frame and geometry

The KELLYS TAYEN RS-series frame is made from Al 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and uses advanced robotic welding. The design features an integrated removable battery and a 1.5" tapered head tube. The rear triangle uses a 12x148 mm Boost thru-axle, which increases lateral stiffness under load. The bike is available in sizes M and L.

Components

Drivetrain: SHIMANO Cues SL-U4000-9R shifting works with 9 speeds and a SHIMANO Cues U4000 rear derailleur in direct mount configuration. The SHIMANO Linkglide CS-LG300-9 cassette has an 11-46T range.

Brakes: SHIMANO MT200 hydraulic disc brakes use SHIMANO BL-MT200 levers. GALFER Fixed Disc Wave DB03W rotors are 180 mm front and 180 mm rear.

Wheels and tires: KLS Draft 23 Disc 622x23 rims are laced to SHIMANO TC500 hubs with Center Lock mounting. SCHWALBE Smart Sam Active Line 57-622 tires correspond to a 29"x2.25 size.

Cockpit: KLS Active RiseBar handlebars are 720 mm wide with a 31.8 mm clamp diameter. The KLS Active seatpost has a 30.9 mm diameter and a 400 mm length.

Ride characteristics

The combination of 29" wheels and a 120 mm fork travel shifts the bike’s handling toward confidence on rough ground. The PANASONIC GXM mid-drive motor with 100 Nm of torque helps you maintain cadence on climbs. The 11-46T cassette range supports smooth power delivery when grinding uphill at low speed. Boost axles improve tracking precision under braking and through faster corners.

Who it’s for

This model is intended for sporty female cyclists who ride a mix of off-road terrain, gravel, and longer climbs. It’s suitable for regular rides as well as trips where the 725 Wh battery capacity matters. In this class, it targets riders who prefer an aluminum frame and a simple, durable Linkglide drivetrain.
