Knog Scout Bike Alarm is a lightweight, low-profile alarm and tracker for bicycles that mounts under the bottle cage.
It is compatible only with Apple iPhone phones running iOS, where it can be paired with the FindMy app. You can then track where the bike is, even when it’s not currently moving.
The low profile and discreet look of the tracker allow it to be mounted hidden under the bottle cage using tamper-resistant security screws. However, if you want to make it clear to those around you that your bike is protected by a tracker, you can use the included neon yellow silicone cover.
Turning it on or off is easy and can be done using the button on the side of the tracker when the connected iPhone is in close proximity (<1.5 m), or using the Knog app when the device is within Bluetooth range.
With normal use, the battery lasts for approximately 6 months, and recharging is handled via a USB-C connector.
Cyclists can activate / deactivate the motion-sensitive alarm, locate the device, and check battery life through the Knog app.
The tracker features a dual-function LED that shows at a glance whether it is active. The same LED also displays the battery charge level.
