The 14-tooth pulleys from Kogel Bearings make your 12-speed MTB SRAM rear derailleur more efficient. With the large outer diameter of the pulleys, the chain itself moves less and there is less friction. In short, larger wheels speed you up. To further reduce friction, Kogel relies on its proven ceramic bearings, ensuring smooth operation. The derailleur pulleys are machined from hard aluminum and are long-lasting, with Kogel's special cross seals offering extended dirt resistance.
When using Kogel wheels, the original rear derailleur cage can be retained. (L - lower = lower jockey wheel, U - upper = upper jockey wheel)
The second-generation Kogel pulleys are designed to fit standard rear derailleur cages from SRAM Eagle and Shimano 12 spd., using the maximum number of teeth possible. The pulleys themselves are machined from aluminum and have a chamfered edge on the teeth to prevent the chain from snagging when it starts dancing over jumps and rough descents. Additionally, the height of the teeth has been increased to ensure better chain retention. What remains unchanged are Kogel's super smooth ceramic bearings and the seal selection.
