ALUXX aluminum frame and carbon fork
The Avail AR is built on a modern and lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame with internal cable routing and an integrated seat clamp. The frame geometry creates a comfortable endurance riding position. ALUXX frames, manufactured from high-quality aluminum alloy in our own factory, offer high stiffness and strength with low weight. The carbon fork provides better vibration damping and thus reduces hand fatigue.
High comfort
The frame is designed to provide you with high comfort, even on roads and paths with poorer surfaces. The carbon D-Fuse seat post, with its specific "D" shape, allows for slight flex and helps absorb vibrations, contributing to higher comfort. The handlebars (on the Avail AR 1 model) operate on the same principle, flexing slightly downwards to reduce hand fatigue while providing high stiffness upwards.
Excellent handling
Disc brakes have higher efficiency and better modulation of braking force than rim brakes, which improves bike control, even in changing weather conditions. The brakes are mounted using flat mount brackets, and the 12mm thru-axles ensure necessary stiffness. Wider tires with fine tread patterns add more confidence, and they are also tubeless – this technology reduces the risk of punctures and improves ride characteristics.
This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
Compact Road revolutionized the look and feel of high-performance road bikes forever. A downward sloping toptube (from the headtube to the seattube) creates smaller front and rear triangles for a lighter, stiffer bike. It also makes it easier for riders of all sizes to have a perfect fit.
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
