ALUXX aluminum frame and carbon fork
The Avail AR is built on a modern and lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame with internal cable routing and an integrated seat clamp. The frame geometry creates a comfortable endurance riding position. ALUXX frames, made from high-quality aluminum alloy in our own factory, offer high stiffness and strength at a low weight. The carbon fork provides better vibration damping, thus reducing hand fatigue.
High comfort
The frame is designed to provide you high comfort, even on roads and paths with rough surfaces. Additional comfort is provided by the carbon D-Fuse seatpost, which, thanks to its specific “D” shape, allows slight “flexing” to help absorb vibrations. The handlebars (on the Avail AR 1 model) are based on the same principle, flexing slightly downward to help reduce hand fatigue, while providing high rigidity upward.
Excellent handling
Disc brakes offer higher efficiency and better modulation of braking force compared to rim brakes, which improves bike handling, even in variable weather conditions. Brakes are mounted using flat mount brackets, and 12mm thru-axles provide the necessary stiffness.
Wider tires with a fine tread also give you more confidence, and they are tubeless – this technology reduces the risk of punctures and improves ride quality.
This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
Compact Road revolutionized the look and feel of high-performance road bikes forever. A downward sloping toptube (from the headtube to the seattube) creates smaller front and rear triangles for a lighter, stiffer bike. It also makes it easier for riders of all sizes to have a perfect fit.
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
