Liv BeLiv SL 0 road bike Asphalt Green

Description

Liv BeLiv SL 0 Asphalt Green is a women’s road bike designed for fast riding on asphalt and long rides at a steady training pace. It sits in the performance category with an emphasis on efficient power transfer, precise handling, and modern integration. It’s built around an aluminum frame with disc brakes and a 12-speed drivetrain.

Frame and geometry

The frame is made from ALUXX SL aluminum alloy with a 12x142 mm rear thru-axle and disc-brake mounts. The fork is Advanced-grade composite carbon with a full-carbon OverDrive steerer and a 12x100 mm front thru-axle. The geometry is tuned for a balanced road feel and confidence on descents thanks to a longer wheelbase and 420 mm chainstays. Sizes range from XXS to L, with stack of 510.1–589.3 mm and reach of 363.3–381 mm.

Components

Drivetrain: Shifting is based on the Shimano 105 groupset with 12 speeds. It uses a Shimano 105 front derailleur and a Shimano 105 11–36 cassette, with a Shimano press-fit bottom bracket.

Brakes: Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes use Giant MPH rotors. Rotor diameter is 160 mm front and 140 mm rear.

Wheels and tires: The Giant ALP wheelset features aluminum rims with a 25 mm profile height and Giant hubs for thru-axles. Giant SR 1 tires are sized 700x28c and measure 30 mm in real width.

Cockpit: Giant Contact handlebars feature flare and a 31.8 mm clamp diameter. The Giant Contact AeroLight stem has a -10° angle, and it’s paired with a Giant D-Fuse composite seatpost with 14 mm offset.

Ride characteristics

The ALUXX SL aluminum frame supports snappy acceleration and predictable line-holding when putting down higher power through the pedals. The carbon fork and D-Fuse seatpost help filter small vibrations, which is noticeable on rougher asphalt. Wider 28c tires improve stability in corners and let you run lower pressure without losing confidence. Disc brakes with 160/140 mm rotors maintain a consistent bite point on longer descents.

Who it’s for

The bike is intended for road cyclists who want an efficient training machine for everyday rides as well as longer outings. Thanks to the 34/50 chainrings and 11–36 cassette, it also suits hilly terrain and riders who pay attention to cadence. Compared to pure race-oriented carbon frames, it offers a more robust aluminum foundation while still delivering modern axles and disc brakes.
