The new Magped SPORT2 safety magnetic pedals are an innovation for mountain bikes and e-bikes. The redesigned SPORT AL version not only shines with greater stability and lower weight, but also offers more in terms of color compared to its predecessor. Various color options now allow you to individually match the color scheme of your bike.
The patented magnetic mechanism serves on both sides for a secure, quick, and easy detachment of the foot from the pedal.

Magped pedals are modern and high-quality platforms made from lightweight CNC-machined aluminum with a CrMo shaft. The weight, including the patented magnet system, is only 420 g (100N magnet, manufacturer information) per pair.
Depending on the selected magnetic strength, the shoe is held magnetically on the pedal with up to 15 kg of pulling force. The pulling force acts mostly vertically, and the pedal can be detached from the side with almost no noticeable resistance. Quick and easy removal directly upward in critical situations is also not a problem.
The pedals allow for slight rotation of the shoe, protecting the joints while pedaling. Likewise, the position can be moved forward and backward without changing the pulling force, so it's easy to find the ideal position for both ascent and descent.

The insert made of stainless special steel can be mounted on any SPD-compatible cycling shoe using 2 screws in just a few minutes. Unlike other systems, dirt is not an issue. Furthermore, the risk of tripping when walking is reduced, and walking comfort is significantly improved.
