The Mavic Crossmax XL are the perfect wheels with reinforced aluminum rims for rides in challenging technical terrain, yet light enough for steep mountain climbs.
The triangular shape of the rim can absorb strong impacts, so nothing will throw you off during aggressive descents.
The foundation is a rim with an inner width of 30 mm, optimized for lower tire pressure and ideally combined with tires ranging from 2.30 to 2.60” in width. The wide and sturdy rim treated with a Black Shield finish can resist impacts and scratches. Technology Fore is standard, eliminating the need for rim tape.
24 double-butted spokes ensure excellent lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. Lighter and stronger new Infinity hubs with the proven ID360 ratchet provide instant acceleration. Disc attachment is via 6 bolts.
The Crossmax XL wheels are equipped with thru-axles - 15x110 mm in the front and 12x148 mm in the rear. The wheels also feature automatic adjustment of QRM Auto industrial bearings.
