Maxxis Receptor is a semi-slick gravel tire for pavement, dusty roads, and light gravel, available in a tubeless version.
Thanks to the low-profile center tread, the Receptor rolls easily regardless of the surface. Small side knobs provide traction in corners on loose and hard terrain.
Dual Compound - two compounds used in the tread offer lower rolling resistance and increased grip in corners.
Material with EXO protection is resistant to cuts and abrasions. This tightly woven fabric is lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring the tire's performance remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for increased durability in gravel, XC, and light trail riding.
The dual tread compounds use two different compounds. The centre of the tread uses a firmer compound to improve rolling resistance and create stronger braking edges, while the sidewalls and the tread side knobs use a softer compound for better control and cornering grip.
EXO is a puncture and abrasion resistant material that is added to the sidewalls of many Maxxis MTB and gravel tires. Choose EXO Protection for superior durability in gravel, XC and light trail riding.
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance.
