Met Shelter is an MTB and All Mountain helmet that provides reliable protection while riding trails or during cross-country rides and races.
Thanks to the internal airflow, it is lightweight and well-ventilated, ensuring comfort while wearing.
The helmet is made from a polycarbonate shell using the In-mould method. It features EPS padding, has extended rear head coverage, and an integrated visor design.
It also offers the Safe-T Sport fit system with a 360° band around the head, which prevents pressure points on the head's circumference. It also includes the MIPS safety system for enhanced protection against specific impacts.
The Met Shelter helmet has 12 ventilation openings that work with the internal airflow system for better ventilation and comfort, and it includes eyewear holders for secure storage of glasses during climbs or breaks.

Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
