Mondraker Chrono DC mountain bike in graphite/desert grey/orange is a rigid mountain model in the downcountry category on 29" wheels, focused on fast off-road riding. It will appeal to riders who want the efficiency of an XC hardtail but demand more confidence in technical sections. Its spec targets the mid-performance class, where functional components and well-thought-out geometry make the difference.
At its core is a Chrono 29 Stealth Alloy aluminum frame with a race-inspired XC Forward Geometry, tuned for greater stability on fast descents. The frame uses a BSA 73 mm threaded bottom bracket and a tapered head tube for a stiffer front end. Cable routing runs internally via the HHG system, which protects the housings in mud and simplifies maintenance. The rear end is built around the Boost 12x148 mm standard with a thru-axle for more precise tracking.
