Women's Northwave Corsair 2 Wmn MTB shoes with an improved, flexible Damp-Evo outsole for long rides, suitable for walking as well.
The shoes dampen impacts well, thanks to the EVA midsole. Upper made of PU and mesh Ripstop material.
The shoes feature TPU inserts and an SLW3 dial closure system.
Newly redesigned upper tongue with padding for even greater comfort.

Weight: 335 g
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
EVA, literally Ethylene-vinyl acetate is also known as Polyethylene-vinyl acetate i.e. PEVA. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, as the name suggests. The weight of the vinyl acetate component is in the range of 10 to 40% and the remainder is ethylene itself. Its physical properties is as an elastomeric polymer, i.e. a substance that excels in high elasticity. Thanks to its unique composition, it ranks among the most light yet flexible and soft materials. It is therefore not a classic thermoplastic, which is often commonly used for the production of many products around us.
