The men’s Northwave Extreme XC 2 shoes feature an ultra-lightweight outsole made entirely of unidirectional carbon fibre with a stiffness index of 14 for full power transfer.
The shoes feature an integrated Michelin tread that is 28% stronger than TPU. The shoes offer superior grip and lower weight thanks to the Dual Layer Compound technology. The two SLW3 click dials allow you to vary the pressure in the toe and upper instep area for a precise and comfortable fit. The thermally bonded joints prevent unwanted blisters.
The ultra-thin TPU reinforcements are abrasion-resistant and provide protection for the entire upper. The trekking upper has an ARS structure that wraps around the foot, offering the possibility of applying maximum force to the pedal. The mesh insole prevents overheating, even on the hottest summer days.
Another feature of the shoes is the double insole of different densities for a flawless fit (3 mm and 5 mm thickness).
