The Novatec D462SB-SL-CL-B12-S3S-11S rear hub will give your mountain bike confidence on steep climbs and rough descents. When you put power into the pedals, the power transfer feels calm and precise.
This is a rear MTB hub for disc brakes, built around a thru-axle and a stable rear-wheel fit in the frame. It helps you hold your line even when the terrain is working underneath you.
Five NBK 6902 sealed cartridge bearings support smooth operation and predictable rolling resistance. You’ll appreciate it on long climbs as well as when riding in mud.
The steel design and steel freehub body with 3 pawls are ready for frequent engagement and higher torque. Under pedaling, engagement feels solid and without distracting noise.
Compatibility with Shimano HG 8/9/10 and also 9/10 SRAM makes it easier to choose a cassette during service or a bike rebuild. The hub fits right into common MTB drivetrains.
The hub is intended as a rear MTB hub for disc brakes.
The hub axle is a rear thru-axle 12 × 148 mm Boost.
The brake rotor mounting is CenterLock.
