Ochain R Spider Damper SR 3B black

Description

On the trail, the little things often make the difference: calm legs, a clean pedal stroke, and a bike that doesn’t “fight” you in rough terrain. Ochain R Spider Damper SR 3B black is a chain damper for mountain bikes that helps quiet unwanted impacts through the pedals and lets you focus on the line. The result is a smoother suspension feel and more confident control when the trail turns into rocks or roots.

Main benefits

Ochain R works as a smart “separator” between the drivetrain and your legs: it allows the chainring to rotate back slightly after you put power down, reducing feedback into the pedals. This makes the bike quieter, with less chain turbulence and without unnecessary jerking that can throw off your rhythm. A major advantage is the external travel adjustment, so you can fine-tune the response to the terrain, your riding style, and your specific bike setup. In practice, that means more stability under braking and in corners, and less fatigue on longer rides.

Technical parameters

The model carries the technical designation DS-OCHN-R-B1 and is intended as a chain damper for mountain bikes mounted in the crank area. This version comes in black and is designed for chainrings with a BCD 104 bolt circle diameter, with compatibility limited to this standard. The supported direct-mount chainring interface includes 3-bolt Sram, so it fits common SRAM setups depending on the interface used. Travel adjustment is handled by selecting Lock mode or 3°, 6°, 9° and 12° settings, allowing fine tuning for trail, enduro, and downhill use.

Conclusion

Ochain R Spider Damper SR 3B black makes sense for riders who want a more refined drivetrain feel and more predictable bike behavior both under power and while braking. If you’re dealing with distracting chain noise, pedal kickback, or the feeling that your suspension doesn’t move as freely, this is a clean, technically well-thought-out solution.
