Ortovox Probe Alu 240 Light avalanche probe Silver

Description

When something goes wrong in the winter mountains, seconds matter—along with a clear head. The Ortovox Probe Alu 240 Light avalanche probe gives you the confidence of fast, accurate pinpointing in the field.

Main benefits

For avalanche rescue in ski touring, freeride, and backcountry, it offers quick setup thanks to the Quick Lock system and a comfortable strap—even when wearing gloves.

Depth markings every 5 cm and a clear 1 m depth marking help you choose the right digging technique and save the entire group’s energy.

Colored warning segments signal when you’re nearing the buried person and help you probe more delicately when every centimeter counts.

The robust design with a probe diameter of 11 mm and a tapered steel tip makes it easier to penetrate frozen snow and reduces friction when probing.
