PearTune MSO Tuning e-bike Yamaha PW-X/SE 2016-2018

Description

   PearTune connects to the e-bike system using compatible original connectors. The device does not require any settings, nor is diagnostics needed during installation. All configuration and adaptation to the specific e-bike's settings are handled automatically.
   PearTune is connected between the speedometer sensor and the motor unit and between the display and the motor unit. The display power supply is used as the power source. All data such as current, average, maximum speed, distance traveled, etc., are accurately displayed on the screen.
   The only difference is that from the moment of installation, you, not your bike, determine how fast you go. The maximum speed is only limited by the pedaling frequency.

USAGE:

The PearTune MSO function can be turned on or off at any time during the ride by briefly pressing the walk button. The function of this button remains unchanged when pressed for a long time. The activity of the accelerator is indicated on the display by the flashing of the selected assistance level indicator and the display of the value 9.9 km/h (2.5 km/h) immediately after turning the device on (off).

PT-MSO-PWX/SE-16/17/18

① Remove the plastic cover of the central drive from below. Under the cover are three INBUS screws. Loosen two of them closer to the front wheel and tilt the motor backward. The connectors and cables are located under the motor.

② Disconnect the five-pin connector between the display and the motor body and the three-pin connector between the speedometer sensor and the motor body.

③ Connect all four corresponding connectors on the MSO to the free corresponding connectors on the e-bike. All connectors are equipped with locks to prevent incorrect connection.

④ Place the MSO in a suitable position and use zip ties for the wiring if necessary. Tilt the motor back to its original position and tighten the previously loosened INBUS screws. Then mount the cover, and the bike is ready for a test ride.
