Peatys Monarch Pro Mushroom Thick grips Brick

Description

When the trail starts throwing rocks and roots under your wheels, your hands deserve confidence and calm. Peaty’s Monarch Pro Mushroom Thick grips Brick turn your hold into support you can rely on even after hours in the saddle.

Key benefits

The Mushroom texture dampens small impacts and helps keep you comfortable on rough terrain, so you can focus more on your line. The ZigZag thumb pad stabilizes your grip and reduces friction that often leads to blisters.

The dual-compound construction puts softer rubber where your palm rests, and a more durable compound where it takes the most abuse. That way you keep a precise feel at the bars even when pulling harder.

A damping cut-out in the core boosts vibration absorption and reduces hand fatigue on longer rides. At the same time, you don’t lose control because the underside of the grip stays firmer.

The half flange protects the inside of your hand while helping to cover the edge of the clamp. The Pinky ramp at the end gives a subtle reassurance that you’re holding the edge of the handlebar even through rough sections.

Technical specifications

The grip area length is 130 mm on each grip.

The diameter of the Thick version is 32–34 mm for a fuller hold.

The material is dual-compound rubber: a 15a soft layer and a 30a Duralite compound.

The core is made from 80 % recycled ocean plastics, and the grips are secured with lock-out clamps with an M3 bolt.

Conclusion

Peaty’s Monarch Pro Mushroom Thick are mountain bike grips for riders who want comfort without sacrificing control. The Brick brown color looks understated, yet pairs strikingly with a natural bike style.

The thoughtful shape with a tapered and offset core supports a more natural palm angle. The result is more confident cornering and calmer hands on rough trails.
