Peatys Monarch Pro Mushroom Thick grips Plum purple

Description

When the trail starts to buzz and your hands go numb, the details at the contact point with the handlebars make all the difference. Peaty’s Monarch Pro Mushroom Thick grips Plum purple deliver a confident hold and feel you can rely on in roots and rock gardens alike.

Main benefits

The Mushroom texture is built for comfort off-road, as its ribs compress and absorb small impacts. This reduces hand fatigue on longer rides.

The dual-compound construction combines a softer top layer made from 15A rubber with a tougher lower section of 30A Duralite. Your palm gets a plush feel, while your fingers have support and stability.

A damping cut-out in the core increases the layer of soft rubber where your palm applies the most pressure. You still get clear feedback from the terrain, but hits to your hands feel less harsh.

The ZigZag thumb pad helps prevent pressure points and blisters under impacts and lateral forces in corners. The half flange with a Pinky ramp also helps keep your hand in place.

Technical specifications

The length of the grip area is 130 mm.

The Thick version has a grip diameter of 32–34 mm.

The core is made from 80 % recycled ocean plastics.

The package includes 2 grips, 2 clamps, and 2 3 mm Allen bolts.

Conclusion

Peaty’s Monarch Pro Mushroom Thick are mountain bike grips for riders who want more comfort without sacrificing control. The offset and tapered core support a more natural grip and more confident steering.

Lock-out clamps keep the grip firmly in place even in wet conditions and dust. The Plum purple colour adds a bold detail to the bike that pairs well with modern components.
