SmarTUBE is Pirelli's latest product in the category of bicycle inner tubes, continuing Pirelli's effort to enhance performance in modern cycling.
The new SmarTube inner tubes are made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), saving you approximately 70% of the weight of standard tubes (reducing rotating mass) and taking up 50% less space in your pockets.
They are also more durable than tubes made purely of butyl.
As an additional bonus, the reinforced Cinturato SmarTUBE model has enhanced the excellent properties of TPU material for double puncture resistance while maintaining lightness and compactness when packed as insurance. Choose them to save weight or space and they will also offer you higher puncture resistance, plus they come in Pirelli's racing yellow color.
