SmarTUBE is Pirelli's latest product in the category of bicycle inner tubes and is a continuation of Pirelli's efforts to enhance performance in modern cycling.
The new SmarTube tubes are made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), saving you approximately 70% of the weight of standard tubes (reducing the weight of rotating mass) and taking up 50% less space in your pockets.
They are also more durable than tubes made entirely of butyl.
As an added bonus, the reinforced Cinturato SmarTUBE model enhances TPU's excellent properties for double puncture resistance, while maintaining lightness and compactness when packed as a safeguard. Choose them to save weight or space, and they will also offer you greater puncture resistance, additionally in Pirelli's race yellow color.
