The Pirelli Cinturato™ Cross tire combines tread pattern with a special compound to meet off-road riding demands.
The Cinturato™ Cross & Gravel range includes what Pirelli has already developed for road and MTB tires: it combines the custom development philosophy and terrain-driven tread pattern of the Scorpion™ MTB with the efficiency and reliability of the Cinturato™ Velo rolling performance.

TechWALL
The tire construction combines know-how under the armour tech™ label with properties developed for off-road use. The construction and its components have features that enable resistance to damage (e.g., puncture by a sharp object or stone): an added layer of highly cut-resistant material covers the area from bead to bead while not reducing tire rolling efficiency. The result is usability on lighter gravel surfaces and in challenging off-road conditions.
SpeedGRIP
A rubber compound that allows better performance and energy transfer with less effort when riding on asphalt, gravel, or more aggressive terrain. The SpeedGRIP compound achieves the same durability as its MTB counterpart (SmartGRIP) and the same high level of grip on wet surfaces, enabling more efficient energy transfer to reduce rolling resistance to a level similar to pure racing road tires.
