P ZERO Race TLR is among the fastest road tires of this brand. It uses the smartEVO compound, which provides low rolling resistance while maintaining excellent handling and control over the bike at high speeds in both dry and wet conditions. This new technology was developed thanks to Pirelli's experience in rubber compounds for racing tires and allowed reduced rolling resistance, thus improving the smooth performance of this tire.
P ZERO Race TLR utilizes new SPEEDCore technology, which uses aramid fibers to reinforce the tire and increase puncture resistance. At the same time, it maintains low rolling resistance.
This tire can also be used for tubeless systems.
The SmartEVO compound developed by Pirelli uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific properties to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as grip and rolling resistance. The development of the SmartEVO compound has benefited from a wealth of motorsport knowledge drawn from over 100 years of experience. SmartEVO compound offers improved dry and wet grip, while offering lower rolling resistance.
The most powerful tubeless road construction with a unique design that adds an aramid insert to the rubber layer of the tire. This new structure adds strength and support to the tire, but maintains lower stiffness for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip compared to tires with Bead to Bead aramid construction.
