After three years of development in collaboration with the fastest riders on the World Tour circuit, Pirelli has managed to design this new tubeless-ready tyre with a new SmartEVO rubber compound and a TechWALL+ casing construction, and offer an outstanding product to both professional cyclists and all cycling enthusiasts alike!

The tyre is primarily intended for performance and endurance bikes, and secondarily for time trial bikes, across the seasons of spring, summer and autumn, and to a limited extent winter.

SmartEVO rubber compound
The latest generation of smart polymer compound to deliver maximum grip with low rolling resistance.
The new SmartEVO rubber compound uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific performance qualities to achieve the optimal balance of opposing characteristics such as grip and rolling resistance. Pirelli has drawn on its knowledge and experience from more than 100 years of developing rubber compounds for motorsport, where these products have always been used at the highest level of racing across all disciplines. This extensive expertise from the development and racing departments has enabled Pirelli to create a triple polymer blend with “smart” performance properties for bicycle tyres, forming the foundation for the outstanding characteristics of the SmartEVO compound—better grip in both dry and wet conditions, while also reducing rolling resistance. Pirelli has created a performance rubber compound designed and fine-tuned for all modern road cycling disciplines, from local or World Tour races to epic adventures where climate and varied surfaces demand tyres that reliably perform at the highest level in all conditions.
