P Zero SmarTube Evo is the latest innovative tube from Pirelli, focusing on enhancing the performance of modern cycling equipment.
These tubes were initially developed for World Tour tires but are now available for everyday rides. They are made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which is 70% lighter than regular butyl tubes and takes up nearly half the space in your pocket. TPU tubes are also stronger than butyl, ensuring greater durability and reliability. Due to their design, the P Zero SmarTube Evo rolls 5% faster than the standard SmarTube, contributing to increased speed and improved riding characteristics.
Intended for: road bikes, time trial bikes, and occasionally endurance bikes. Designed for use on all types of road cycling where low rolling resistance is a priority. Ideally paired with Pirelli P Zero tires.
Material: TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). Further development of Pirelli TPU material, now with even lower hysteresis for reduced rolling resistance, maintaining the same weight and compact volume.
