P Zero SmarTube Evo is the latest innovative inner tube from Pirelli, focused on enhancing the performance of modern cycling equipment.
These tubes were originally developed for World Tour tires, but they are now available for everyday riding. They are made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which is 70% lighter than standard butyl tubes and takes up almost half the space in your pocket. TPU tubes are also stronger than butyl, ensuring higher durability and reliability. Thanks to its design, the P Zero SmarTube Evo rolls 5% faster than the standard SmarTube, contributing to acceleration and improved bike handling.
Intended use: road bikes, time trial bikes, and marginally endurance bikes. Designed for use in all types of road riding where low rolling resistance is a priority. Ideally paired with Pirelli P Zero tires.
Material: TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). Further development of Pirelli TPU material, now with even lower hysteresis for reduced rolling resistance, while maintaining the same weight and compact volume.
