Experience and successes in rally and motocross led Pirelli developers to invent the innovative SmartGRIP compound. This special compound combines two opposing properties:
a) Cut resistance: guarantees maximum mechanical grip and traction in dry conditions and higher puncture resistance along with longer durability.
b) Chemical grip in wet conditions: no need to think about changing conditions, whether it will rain or if there will be muddy and slippery sections on the track.
The result is longer-lasting tire performance with excellent grip. The tire maintains these performance characteristics even as the tread wears out.
