The POC M’s Layer Merino Mock Neck Jersey base layer is designed for maximum comfort and performance during winter sports.
It combines the natural properties of merino wool with functional processing for ideal temperature and moisture regulation – it warms in the cold, cools during higher activity, and quickly wicks sweat away from the body. Merino is also antibacterial and prevents odor.
The shirt has a snug fit and a minimal number of seams. They are shaped for maximum comfort even under a tight racing suit. The 4-way stretch material does not restrict movement.

Merino is a breed or group of breeds of domestic sheep, characterized by a very fine soft wool. Garments made from this wool are very comfortable and non-scratchy. The structure of the fibre and the weaving technology create multiple "air pockets" and thus guarantee thermal comfort of the wearer. The pockets keep the air warm on the body and create very effective insulation. An important characteristic of Merino is also neutralisation of sweat and elimination of odour, which is why Merino wool is often used in winter sportswear.
