The Prologo Scratch M5 is among the best saddles on the market. This is evidenced by the fact that Tadej Pogačar won the Tour de France in 2020 and 2021 using it.
The Scratch M5 saddle represents a new series of saddles that uses 4.0 technology – it has undergone innovations in shape, ergonomics, and size.
The new Multi Sector System, designed by Milan-based polytechnics, increases comfort and performance. Active foam combines different padding densities and creates 5 zones that function separately to support better pedaling movement. The rear of the saddle provides stable support between the sit bones, the middle reduces pressure in the pelvic area, and the front reduces pressure points during the most intense exertion.
The Scratch M5 saddle with the PAS system features an open central cut that eliminates pressure points and stiffness in the pelvic area. PAS works better than a traditional anatomical cutout. This technology achieves an anatomically shaped surface and platform for the saddle. The excellent characteristics of the saddle are ensured by the unchanged integrity of the saddle structure and padding.
TiROX rails are made from lightweight aluminum-titanium alloys. They are highly resistant to tensile and twisting stresses.
The saddle has a round shape, which is suitable for cyclists with limited lumbar flexibility. It's an ideal shape for medium-length distances. The round shape increases the seating area and better distributes the cyclist's weight. The rear surface of the saddle slightly rises, improving pelvic rotation and support.
