R2 Crown is the flagship model of the R2 brand, combining technology and functionality.
The glasses are made from flexible, lightweight Grilamid TR90 material, with lenses made of impact-resistant polycarbonate. The lens tint is grey, red-black revo, and the sun filter category is 2.
Non-slip temples and nose pads ensure comfortable wear, the glasses stay in place and won’t slip. You can additionally purchase the removable ATRPX or ATPX2 prescription insert.
Eyewear with self-tinting (photochromic) lenses adapt instantly to the current light conditions, the glasses darken in the sunlight, and lighten immediately when entering a building.
Grilamid TR 90 is a very lightweight, flexible and durable polyamide, which is superior to classic polycarbonate. It is a transparent polyamide made from a mixture of different artificial resins. TR90 is more durable than polycarbonate, and also has shape memory (after bending it returns to its original shape). It can be found in better quality and more expensive sports eyewear.
