R2 Impulse are sunglasses with a modern design for cycling and other outdoor sports.
Made from strong and lightweight Grilamid TR90.
The lenses are made of HD Tech material, ensuring a sharp and clear image, coated with a special mirrored layer that is scratch-resistant. They are also photochromic, adjusting their tint according to light conditions.
Light transmission is category S0-S3 (87-16%).
They also provide 100% UV protection.

Grilamid TR 90 is a very lightweight, flexible and durable polyamide, which is superior to classic polycarbonate. It is a transparent polyamide made from a mixture of different artificial resins. It is characterized by a very low weight, high elasticity and strength, which are propertie many materials do not have. TR90 is more durable than polycarbonate, and also has shape memory (after bending it returns to its original shape). It can be found in better quality and more expensive sports eyewear. Recently, it has also become more popular in casual eyewear.
Eyewear with self-tinting (photochromic) lenses adapt instantly to the current light conditions, the glasses darken in the sunlight, and lighten immediately when entering a building.
