R2 Racer, some of the lightest glasses from the manufacturer R2, feature grey photochromic lenses with ventilation holes, rubberized, adjustable nose pads and temples.
They are made from lightweight and flexible Grilamid TR90 material, and the lenses are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate. The light transmittance of the lenses is S0-S3 (82% - 16%).

The glasses offer 100% UV A, B, C protection, and the package includes a hard case and a microfiber pouch.
Grilamid TR 90 is a very lightweight, flexible and durable polyamide, which is superior to classic polycarbonate. It is a transparent polyamide made from a mixture of different artificial resins. It is characterized by a very low weight, high elasticity and strength, which are propertie many materials do not have. TR90 is more durable than polycarbonate, and also has shape memory (after bending it returns to its original shape). It can be found in better quality and more expensive sports eyewear. Recently, it has also become more popular in casual eyewear.
Eyewear with self-tinting (photochromic) lenses adapt instantly to the current light conditions, the glasses darken in the sunlight, and lighten immediately when entering a building.
