When the trail breaks into a steep descent, you want calm in your legs and confidence in every pedal stroke. The Race Face Chester Large pedals hold your shoe securely, while still feeling pleasantly predictable even on rough ground.
The wide Large platform provides stable support, so you can push into the bike more effectively in corners and on wet roots. It’s also a great fit for riders with larger shoes.
Each side of the pedal has 11 pins on each side, helping keep your foot exactly where it should be. A mix of metal and plastic pins adds confidence without an unnecessarily aggressive feel.
The nylon composite body slides well over rocks and resists impacts, which you’ll appreciate in enduro and on technical trails. That way, the pedal handles everyday hits without unnecessary drama.
The internal assembly is fully serviceable, so the pedals keep a smooth spin even after a long season. They’re well suited for All-mountain, Enduro, and eMTB, where components take a beating.
The Large platform measures 115 x 110 mm.
Platform thickness is 16 mm for a natural connection to the bike.
The pedal body is nylon composite, and the axle is chromoly steel (Cr-Mo).
The weight of the pedals in size Large is 355 g per pair.
Race Face Chester Large are composite platform pedals for riders who want grip, stability, and durability in one package. The purple color adds flair to the bike, but the main thing is that calm, confident feel on the ride.
Thanks to the serviceable design and sensible platform dimensions, they’re a great choice for long rides as well as hard descents. They’re built to keep up with your trail riding and your eMTB.
