Ride Concepts Transition are elite high-top gravity shoes for SPD pedals with above-standard foot protection and resistance to wet, adverse weather conditions.
They offer all the premium features (including unique D3O protective elements on the underside), durability, top-tier design and uncompromising quality. On top of that, they add increased ankle protection (also reinforced with D3O elements at the ankle) and greater foot support thanks to the higher ankle construction along with a wide Powerstrap stabilizing Velcro strap over the laces.
The choice of materials and construction is tailored for use in harsher conditions in wet weather.
Everything is fine-tuned down to the smallest detail—whether it's the special construction that minimizes the number of seams needed (and therefore the places where moisture can get in), special durable protective elements at the front and rear, a special water-repellent surface treatment, tongue gussets that prevent dirt and moisture from getting in, or the clever oval eyelets for the laces that reduce the space for potential moisture ingress.

EVA, literally Ethylene-vinyl acetate is also known as Polyethylene-vinyl acetate i.e. PEVA. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, as the name suggests. The weight of the vinyl acetate component is in the range of 10 to 40% and the remainder is ethylene itself. Its physical properties is as an elastomeric polymer, i.e. a substance that excels in high elasticity. Thanks to its unique composition, it ranks among the most light yet flexible and soft materials. It is therefore not a classic thermoplastic, which is often commonly used for the production of many products around us.
D3O® offers the thinnest and most advanced impact protection available. Their products are used around the world by military, professional athletes, industrial workers and everyday bike riders. D3O utilizes unique patented technologies to produce soft, flexible, speed-sensitive materials with high impact absorption properties, which are used in impact protection products. Based on non-Newtonian principles, the material's molecules flow freely in their raw form, allowing it to be soft and flexible, but lock into each other upon impact to dissipate impact energy and reduce the transmitted force.
