On long rides and on rough asphalt, comfort in the saddle determines how long you can keep riding with enthusiasm. The Ritchey WCS ZERO Blatte 27.2x400 seatpost helps calm impacts and keeps your position exactly where you want it.
The aluminium body of the seatpost increases impact absorption and thus improves comfort without sacrificing torsional stiffness. As a result, the bike feels more confident in corners and when pedalling out of the saddle.
The 27.2 mm seatpost diameter is a common choice for road, gravel, and sporty mountain frames, where the balance between comfort and control matters. If you fine-tune your position down to the millimetre, the seatpost behaves predictably and is easy to adjust.
0 mm offset keeps the saddle directly above the seatpost axis, making it a good match for modern geometry and a more forward riding position. It’s also practical if you don’t want to deal with shifting the saddle rearward because of the seatpost design.
Lower weight helps keep the bike feeling lively, which you’ll appreciate on climbs and during frequent accelerations. At the same time, it’s a component that stands up to everyday use without unnecessary maintenance.
The overall length of the seatpost is 400 mm.
The seatpost diameter is 27.2 mm.
The material is aluminium in a 3D Forged 7050 Construction design.
The seatpost weight is 240 g and the colour is black.
Ritchey WCS ZERO Blatte is a seatpost for riders who want a clean look, a precise fit, and a smoother ride over uneven surfaces. It’s well suited to sporty builds where stiffness and sensible weight both matter. In black, it blends into most bikes without distracting details.
