When winter hits the ridge and the wind drives snow into your face, you want gear that can keep up with your plan. Salewa Ortles Powertex 3L men's trousers will keep you dry even on exposed sections.
Reliable protection for winter mountains thanks to the 3-layer Powertex 3L material and fully taped seams. Water won’t get in, even during prolonged contact with snow.
High breathability helps maintain a comfortable microclimate on the ascent and when using crampons. The breathability rating of 20 000 g/m2/24h supports moisture vapor transfer.
The athletic cut is designed for movement in terrain where you often need to take big steps. A gusseted crotch and articulated knees add freedom on climbs and traverses.
The lower legs fit more snugly over boots and stay in place. Silicone elements improve stability, reducing the risk of catching on crampon points.
Material: 3-layer Powertex made from polyester and polyamide.
Water column rated at 20 000 mm for waterproof performance.
Breathability of 20 000 g/m2/24h for active movement.
Finish: PFC-free DWR treatment and fully taped seams.
Salewa Ortles Powertex 3L are men's winter waterproof trousers built for technical mountain tours and demanding weather. You’ll appreciate them when conditions alternate between wind, snowfall, and long ascents.
The overall design focuses on durability, comfort in motion, and confidence in wet snow.
