The lightweight and breathable Vento jersey features a fitted, athletic cut with a slightly longer rear hem and reflective elements, including a short front zipper and two flap pockets at the lower back.
The body-mapped design incorporates Alpine Merino wool and lyocell Tencel for moisture-wicking, plus merino wool fibers can absorb up to 30% of their dry weight. Lightweight Durastretch softshell panels are positioned on the back and shoulders for added durability and versatility.
The distinctive color block design is further complemented by discreet, strategically placed reflective elements to reflect car headlights.
Merino is a breed or group of breeds of domestic sheep, characterized by a very fine soft wool. Garments made from this wool are very comfortable and non-scratchy. The structure of the fibre and the weaving technology create multiple "air pockets" and thus guarantee thermal comfort of the wearer. The pockets keep the air warm on the body and create very effective insulation. An important characteristic of Merino is also neutralisation of sweat and elimination of odour, which is why Merino wool is often used in winter sportswear.
Fabric developed and patented by Dynafit based on high abrasion resistance. Products made of this light fabric are suitable for high-altitude climbing, trekking and hiking. Durastretch is a combination of nylon (polyamide) and a high content of stretch material. Most products made of this fabric are suitable for wearing all year round, thanks to the excellent sweat wicking. Cordura yarns are also woven in for abrasion resistance.
