The evolution of the iconic Aspide model is called Aspide Short.
The saddle features a modern shortened shape while maintaining a relatively narrower front compared to other models. However, it is much wider at the back than the original Aspide and utilizes a shell with a larger opening.
The Aspide Short is particularly suitable for road cycling, but also for gravel, and can be used in performance-oriented MTB as well. The saddle retains a slight curvature and a relatively flat shape.
By nature, the Aspide Short will suit people with a standard to rearward-tilted pelvis (flatter back when standing and an arch when sitting).
Thanks to a larger and longer opening, comfort in the prostate area has been increased, even though the saddle has been shortened.
