When the pace picks up and the trail starts to snake, you want calm, confident braking at your fingertips. Shimano Alivio BL-T4000 helps you modulate power naturally, without having to search for the right grip. The silver finish also looks clean and technical, and matches most handlebars and components.
The left brake lever is shaped for comfortable two-finger operation, so you can keep the rest of your hand securely on the grip. You’ll appreciate the ergonomics on longer rides and off-road, where the gradient and speed often change.
You can adjust the lever reach from the grip with a tool, so you can fine-tune your setup precisely to your hand size. The result is a more confident pull and less finger fatigue during frequent braking.
Fine adjustment of the brake cable can be done without tools, which comes in handy when the weather changes or after replacing the housing. The lever is designed for V-brakes and also works with mechanical disc brakes.
The mechanical construction is straightforward, reliable, and easy to service at home. For trekking and MTB, it’s a simple way to get predictable braking performance.
The model designation is BL-T4000 for the left side of the handlebars.
The brake lever type is a mechanical lever for actuating a brake cable.
Intended use is trekking and MTB for regular recreational riding.
The lever body material is aluminum in a silver finish.
Shimano BL-T4000 is a left brake lever built around simple operation and a comfortable grip. It’s suitable for bikes with V-brakes as well as systems with mechanical disc brakes. If you’re tuning your cockpit toward a functional, clean look, the silver lever will fit in naturally.
