When the trail breaks into a descent, you want your brakes under control and your hands relaxed. Shimano Alivio BL-T4000 gives your bike the confidence you can rely on every day.
The two-finger, ergonomic lever supports a secure grip and sensitive modulation of braking force even with gloves on. It’s suitable for trekking as well as MTB, where asphalt, gravel, and forest paths alternate.
You can adjust the lever’s reach from the grip with a tool, so you can fine-tune your riding position to your hand size. Thanks to that, braking will feel more natural even on longer rides.
You can adjust the brake cable without tools, which is practical when tuning a V-brake or a mechanical disc brake. You’ll save time during routine service and on the road.
The mechanical construction feels direct and predictable, so you can better judge how much braking power you need at any moment. The right-hand version fits the rear brake in a typical bike setup.
Brake lever technical designation: BL-T4000.
The brake lever type is mechanical, designed for a brake cable.
Compatibility includes V-brakes and mechanical disc brakes.
The brake lever body is made of aluminum and the color is black.
Shimano Alivio BL-T4000 is a right-hand, two-finger brake lever for riders who want simple control and quick adjustment. It’s a great addition to both trekking and mountain bikes, where you’ll appreciate the clear feel and stable grip.
It’s a component that fits into everyday riding as well as weekend trips, without unnecessary complications. Thanks to its thoughtful adjustability, it easily adapts to your riding style.
