Shimano Alivio RD-T4000 SGS 9 speed rear derailleur silver

Description

When you need to shift quickly on trails or gravel, you’ll appreciate peace of mind in both your head and your drivetrain. The Shimano Alivio RD-T4000 SGS derailleur keeps the chain under control and helps maintain a smooth riding rhythm.

Main benefits

Shimano Alivio RD-T4000 SGS 9-speed rear derailleur silver is built for reliable shifting off-road and on longer trips. It handles frequent gear changes well and isn’t overly sensitive to the usual dirt from the road.

The SGS cage supports a wide gear range, so shifting stays confident even with larger gaps between sprockets. In practice, that means fewer distracting noises and a cleaner-running drivetrain.

The classic spring tension delivers a familiar, easy-to-read feel at the shifters and a stable return to the correct position. You’ll appreciate it on rolling terrain where you often alternate gears.

The silver finish is easy to match with many components and looks understated even on a trekking bike. Function comes first, with the look as a pleasant bonus.
