New trekking and urban cranks Shimano from the comprehensive CUES series are designated FC-U8000 and are equipped with a single chainring featuring 42 profiled teeth. The special tooth shape improves chain guidance and chain retention strength for a comfortable ride on rough terrain.
The Shimano Cues FC-U8000 cranks are designed for use with 9/10/11-speed Linkglide cassettes and with Linkglide or HG chains for 11-speed.
The cranks are offered in a length of 175 mm, have a Q-Factor of 180 mm, and a chainline of 50 mm, which accommodates a rear wheel axle of 135 mm with a quick release or up to 142 mm with a thru-axle.
