Shimano CUES RD-U4010 9/10 sp. rear derailleur

Description

When you want shifting to keep its rhythm even on an e-bike with smaller wheels, you’ll appreciate confidence in every gear change. The Shimano CUES RD-U4010 9/10 sp. rear derailleur adds calm, quietness, and precision to your ride.

Main benefits

The compact design with a Super short (SS) cage increases ground clearance and helps protect the derailleur off-road.

The Shadow RD design has a low profile and sits farther from the chainstay, so shifting stays smooth and quieter.

It’s built for 1x drivetrains with 9 or 10 speeds, where you want simple operation and stable chain performance.

Without a cable adjustment barrel, there’s more space by the rear wheel, making tire removal and servicing feel more natural.

Technical specifications

The derailleur’s technical designation is RD-U4010.

It is intended for e-bikes and bikes with smaller wheel diameters.

Compatibility is exclusively with the Shimano LinkGlide shifting system.

The largest sprocket supports a cassette with 36 to 39 teeth.

Conclusion

Shimano CUES RD-U4010 is a rear derailleur for riders who want stable shifting on compact bikes and e-bikes. The low-profile Shadow RD mounting contributes to protection and quiet operation. In black, it blends well with modern sporty builds.
