The Shimano Deore FC-M6100 is a single-speed crankset designed for 12-speed groupsets.
The cranks feature the same DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+ technology as the XTR, SHIMANO DEORE XT and SLX sets. All these sets feature a narrow/wide tooth profile, ensuring reduced chain tension, smoothness and quiet performance.
The chainring is mounted directly with a nut, as is the case with the higher-end groupsets.
The crank axle is a hollow, integrated Hollowtech II.
