Shimano Deore XT BL-M8200/BR-M8220 – Front 4-Piston Disc Brake.
The hydraulic disc brake Shimano Deore XT BL-M8200/BR-M8220 is robust, reliable, and designed for riders who demand high performance and confidence in the most challenging trail and enduro conditions. The ergonomically shaped two-finger lever BL-M8200 with a new closer pivot point mimics the natural finger movement, offering smooth operation and, in combination with the 4-piston caliper BR-M8220, provides enormous braking power with precise modulation.
The optimized Servo Wave technology ensures quick response and strong braking power, while the new low-viscosity mineral oils maintain consistent performance regardless of temperature or weather. Redesigned pads and mounts eliminate vibrations and unwanted noise, making braking quiet and highly effective.
The Deore XT M8200 series draws from the most advanced XTR technologies and combines them with durability and performance appreciated by all MTB riders – from enduro racers to demanding hobby riders.
Main Advantages:
Strong and consistent performance – Servo Wave and low-viscosity mineral oil for reliable response in any terrain.

Ergonomics and adjustments – two-finger lever with tool-free reach adjustment and natural operation.
Quiet operation – new pads and mounts eliminate vibrations and clattering.
Durable and lightweight design – aluminum lever manufactured with Shimano forging technology.
