The Shimano Ultegra WH-R9270-C50-TL is a high-end disc road wheel with 50-mm carbon rims and CL brake rotor mounting.
The essential part of this wheel is the 50-mm D2 Aero carbon rim, carefully tested in the wind tunnel. The internal rim width of 21 mm makes the wheel compatible with tyres from 25 mm to 32 mm.
The wheel hubs rotate on Shimano contact bearings, which are easily serviced. The hubs also feature flanges for Center Lock rotors and Straight Pull spokes. The rear wheel hub body is compatible only with 12-speed Shimano cassettes.
